MOVIN' ON . . . 29 JUNE 2008

On 28 June, Shannon Radosevich writes: Tavish will be coming to me tomorrow (Sunday), as he was not suited to the assigned Foster Home. On 29 June was the Transfer from Gayle & Bob to Shannon & Joe, in Rockport, Illinois. Shannon writes Joe & I got a bit off track today with the highway construction, and also, according to Joe, ". . . you never write the directions down from MapQuest; next time print them out, for Pete's sake." I finally got him to stop for directions and we were only about 10 minutes away from our rendezvous, The Clock Tower Resort and Conference Center, . . and only about 20 minutes late! Gayle & Bob Kiesow & Tavish were waiting patiently for us. As it was such a cool & breezy day, we put Tavish in the crate in our car and had breakfast with them. It was great to meet them in person, and they are as nice as I had expected from sharing emails with Gayle . . . even better! They were just so happy that I had offered to foster Tavish as their newest foster was coming into heat and things were pretty hectic, to say the least. Plus Lacey was going backwards instead of forward in the trust department with them because of the chaos!
