Lacey is doing great. She's up & about more. After Leo & I take a walk, she's waiting at the top of the stairs for us. I sit on the step just below the landing. She's so happy to see us, she does her happy dance (up & down on her front paws), wags her tail and gives Leo & me kisses. However, when I stand up she runs to her "safe" bed. She's only been here 10 days, so I'm very proud of her and the courage it takes on her part to adjust to a new home. And Leo couldn't be a better brother. He's a buddy with a big heart.
She's a little afraid of the camera.
I've given her a middle name - Peek-A-Boo - so that makes her Lacey "Peek-A-Boo" Domm. As I'm making the bed in the morning, she's peeking around the door jamb to see what I'm doing.
Every day we have little miracles. Today she pawed the sliding door to let me know she wanted in.
