On 6 October 2007, Mary writes: Just wanted to share with you my nephew's little rescue Cairn, Louie. Isn't Louie just the cutest. He is only four months old.

On 22 October 2007, Mary writes: Duffer is a joy. He is a perfect traveler. Loves to go in the car and is with us everywhere we go. He is like Velcro with me. He does have some hang ups and of course, we don't have a clue what he went through before we got him. He is "hell on wheels" for any Harley bike, and he is ready to kill any biker. He is also ready to take on anybody coming near the car. He thinks he is a Rottie/Pit cross. He would kill a c*t in a heartbeat, but he is perfect for us and we adore him. We are aware that he will bite anyone approaching me. He protects his house and loved ones and is sharp as a tack! He is so darn cute everyone wants to pet him and he doesn't mind a female touching him, but watch out if you are a guy! He also adores Milt, so no problem there. We recently had snow; he was NOT too crazy about it! He makes us laugh every day and at 19 pounds, he is so EASY!
