GEORGIE LEAVES HIS FOSTER HOME 5 JULY 2010
On 5 July, Andréa writes: On Monday morning, CairnDaddy & I arrived at Lynette & Henry's home to pick up Georgie for his trip west to Monroe, Wisconsin. There, we were to meet George's new Mom, Guyla Primmer and Linda Shepard & Jean Mote, who were driving east from Iowa. Frazier was having a great game of FETCH [read about Frazier's rescue & adoption HERE]; Riley the Yorkie mix was practicing his agiliity skills, and Angel was being . . . angelic. Georgie is such a friendly dog; he greeted us like long-lost friends. Lynette & Henry have done a wonderful job of slimming Georgie down, from 29 pounds to 22 . . . . . . 'tho he still has a few more to lose. He shows us his favorite resting spot . . . . . . but knows that it's time to go home. Two farewell pics . . .
