In the afternoon dive, straight under the boat as they dropped down, was a Short-tail ray of about 5' wingspan (across), then a sleeping nurse shark that some touched (not Neal - "Don't spit into the wind" and "Don't pull a sleeping sharks tail" are two good life rules he has always followed).
Then the usual characters, snails, eels, crabs, lobsters, five more sleeping sharks and a different kind of ray.
Grenada (the bottom bit where they are) sits astride the Southern Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Some of the rays and other marine life commonly seen in one or the other cross zones around here.
We're going out for a nice dinner around 6:30 - tomorrow evening is a night dive, weather permitting. Though showers have been in the forecast (30-40% chance every day/night), today for the first time saw some rain clouds, had a bit of light breeze, felt good, and had a few rain drops but so far that's all.
