8 FEBRUARY 2013

But first, a look at Lorri's villa . . .

On Friday, the owner of True Blue Bay Resort gave Lorri & Barb
a ride into town to try to find some staples.
Most of the stores were closed (it was their independence day).

He gave them the name of a couple of "really good"
dining establishments. We are going to the closest one.

This is supposedly at someone's home!

We made reservations for 7 tonight.

Boots himself, chef/owner

We had local Grenadian food:
Lambé (Conch) soup (Lambé Waters) fritters,
I had Marlin fish steak (very substantial portion).
We had breadfruit, plantains, cassava, Cou-cou,
sorrel as both a spice sauce for the Lambé
AND in a cake for dessert,
topped with a "National Pudding" that tasted like flan,
but had the Grenadian colors of red, yellow & green.
