At Walgreens, I found Lamb Chop dog toys on sale; I grabbed the last two . . . I liked them so much, I used them as decorations until Christmas Day . . . My favorite part was the gingerbread wo/men as antlers; I had to put needles behind them to hold them up . . . I was surprised at their quality: The red front feet were velvet; there were squeakers in each of the paws in addition to the main squeaker; and, as we discovered when SweeTea tore hers open to get at the main squeaker, they were actually tied down into the toy so a dog couldn't take them out. So, on Christmas morning, I (reluctantly) gave SweeTea her Howliday Gift . . . Then, Tipsy Gipsy receives her Howliday Gift . . .
. . . and she immediately gives it the SHAKE TEST . . .
Aaaand here comes Emmie, an hour late and a few brain cells short . . .
	She sez: WHATEVER THEY GOT, I DON'T WANT IT! BUT I WOULDN'T MIND SOME O' THAT FOOD I SEE ON THE TABLE, PLEASE! (Sorry, Emmie; it's all chocolate.) In all her years with us, and you can read her story HERE, she only ONE TIME took a toy in her mouth and tried to play with it.
My ever-faithful companion . . . . . . is always near me or RIGHT by my side, but rarely lets me touch her, still after seven years with us. Even tho SweeTea has her very own Lamb Chop . . . . . . HER favorite toy is whatever toy Gipsy is playing with . . . . . . and she usually takes it away, then abandons it. Meanhile, Gipsy loses interest, too. . . . . . but not this time . . . . . . and they continue playing together separately . . . SweeTea begins to eviscerate her Lamb Chop, but was thwarted in her effor to remove the main squeaker . . . . . . then decides she'd rather have the one without the hole in it . . . . . . but Gipsy carries it away in victory . . .
Don't you love her little smirk . . .
