After several days spent in the garage while temps went way down
("down" for Florida is mid-30s at night, low-40s during the day),
temps rose to the 60s and 70s, so the cacti & amaryllises came back outside.
Here are 360-degree pics of the two large cacti . . .

For quite some time
(two years, actually),
I've been commenting that it's
difficult to photograph the cacti,
as their stems are getting longer.
So Neal improvised a plant stand
from a chlorine tab bucket &
a white towel (as you saw in the pics above),
just for photographing the cacti today.

Then I looked on Amazon again and ordered
this plant stand, 34" high, the same
height as the one Neal put together.
It will arrive on Monday, 2 January 2023;
a great start to the new year.

Yes, that's me in the pot's reflection

Even the small pots of "leftovers" that reside on the Savannah Bird Girl
(you can read all about our adventures with her when she was still a fountain HERE)
have buds that should be coming out soon . . .

Jacki I.'s lovely white cactus has new buds for a second blooming,
probably at the end of January.

As the cacti go into full bloom, I will be updating these pages.

Something I didn't know is that these are NOT real cacti,
altho I've been treating them as such. They are actually epiphytes from Brazil,
which would explain why they prefer to be rootbound.
More information is at the website HERE, as well as many other sites on YouTube.

This was my impulse purchase in December 2019 at the WalMart checkout -
four Norfolk Island Pines in the one pot, originally about 6" tall

. . . which I'm hardening off to plant outside.
NFI Pines are outdoor trees here; some are over 50' tall.
