PREPARING FOR
HURRICANE MILTON

WEDNESDAY, 9 OCTOBER 2024

Floridians' thoughts about ANOTHER hurricane are HERE AND HERE

OUTDOORS, BACK

Outside bar area . . .

HURRICANE

. . . Gipsy investigates the only area that's still dryish. So far.

Tied-down ceiling fan . . .

HURRICANE

Flooded dogs' pen . . .

HURRICANE

Empty area where two rocking swivel chairs would be . . .

HURRICANE

. . . from which I can watch the dogs, both bird feeders and baths,
the bird house, the yard, the pool, and the house.

This flamingo stayed in the pool . . .

HURRICANE

. . . as did this one; they contain chlorine tablets . . .

HURRICANE

The patio area by my bedroom slider which normally has two chairs,
a small table, several plants and the Savannah Bird Girl . . .

HURRICANE

The pavers are different because this used to be a fenced-in"garden",
which meant no access to the patio or pool directly from my bedroom
and gave the dogs (seven when we moved in), a great place to DIG!

Plants, deck box and furniture protected in the lanai . . .

HURRICANE

. . . my favorite place to read & nap, about 355 days of the year,
which is a major reason for staying in Florida.

Ceiling fan taken apart and wrapped up, just in case . . .

HURRICANE
