I think the story of them working 24/7 is a myth . . . . . . I drove by this same corner the next evening; there were floodlights, but no one was there working. Maybe they don't want scavengers coming in. I have read that there have been scavengers along the streets were all the household goods have been dragged. So, don't buy anything used on Craigslist, etc., that comes from Florida (or the other affected states). No used cars, either.
