Downstairs, boxes of books do tend to dominate at the moment.
Finally a shot of the new householders in the living room.
The dining area & kitchen . . . the intriguing dotted pattern on the kitchen cabinets is down to the protective covering which Pamela & I haven't gotten around to removing yet . . . we don't want the cabinets to get dirty!

The winter view from the guest bedroom . . . come summer all you can see is green . . . lovely. Even in winter though the huge sky with the bare trees is fascinating to watch.
As you can see, there's still stuff to sort through (mainly books - what a surprise) and minor homemaking things to get together. Harry & Pamela look set to enjoy their garden and the birds & squirrels who trek through it daily. There are new neighbours to get to know in this rather nice little 'estate' and new suburbs of London - Lewisham, Eltham & Blackheath - to explore.
The youngest grandchildren are just down the road. (Of course at the moment they think that the new house is just THE most exciting place . . . while everyone else shudders at the thought of them being let loose here for even a minute.)
Today I booked my flight back to Oz for 28 February. And so begins the end of the adventure, expedition.
