Saturday morning was . . . um . . . foggy! However, we braved the mists and the cold to go for a hike in a local wilderness park. Lizzie got to try out her new boots. The Circus milled about, very excited, as coats & leashes were found. We bundled up, loaded everyone into the X-Trail and off we went. Lizzie: Despite the cloud, we did get out in Coquitlam. We took a lovely long walk through mysterious mists along the Fraser River with The Circus: Jim (a/k/a The Alpha Male), Murphee, Miss Pix, Courtney & Maureen on the dikes. Maureen really was disappointed (far more than I was!) at the mist. But as we perused the list of 'things to do' in Vancouver, I realised that one of its main attractions is its beautiful setting among the mountains . . . hey ho - just another excuse for a return visit some other time of year . . . .
