LUCY & TONKA UPDATE 22 JULY 2012

Shell writes: Tonka went to a home visit today in Illinois. It went well and he may be matched in the near future. Tonka on the way to his Home Visit Lucy, meanwhile, went to her permanent foster home with the Frommelt family.

Shell writes: Congratulations to Nancy & Jim Kraus of Illinois who adopted little Tonka. Tonka now has two siblings, a Cairn and a sheltie, and two loving parents who are "all about the dogs". Thanks to Jeanne Landers of Illinois for fostering little Tonka; to my ever-patient spouse, Jim Lewis, for chauffering me to the home visit; and to Mary Whitledge, who was the reference checker on this adoption. I thank her for all her hard work and her seemingly endless energy!
