Late-night update from Anita:

She is very timid, very small, very sweet, and scared to death. She was shaking terribly when we got her and hid in the back of the crate all the way home. She is very skinny and probably malnourished. Her back bone sticks up all the way.

She took the treats we offered and drank lots and lots of water. We haven't fed her yet. Clair is out walking her around the yard to "go potty". He just came in and said she peed real good and pooped, so maybe (hopefully) she is housebroken.

She is very warm, but doesn't feel like a fever. Her hair is VERY scarce on her body and she has no hair at all on her tail. Looks like a rat tail. We will give her a good gentle bath in the morning and take some pictures for you.

AND HERE IS . . . SANDY!

A CRUSA salute (WOOF!) to DEB JONES, for alerting us to this little girl, to SHELL LEWIS, for getting her released to us so quickly, and to CLAIR & ANITA ADAMS, for driving over IMMEDIATELY to get her home! She's in good hands now!
