JACOPO GOES CAMPING 27-29 MAY 2017
Heather writes: Jacopo had a busy Memorial Day weekend; he was well enough after his dental and having 14 teeth being removed to come camping with us. Our first stop was Salida, Colorado to go to our favorite dog store that sells harnesses perfect for the Cairn body. He won over the staff with his patience as we tried several styles.
On to our campsite next to the Arkansas River; lots of exploring and dogs to meet on our leisurely strolls around the campground. Jacopo stalks the WILD & DANGEROUS Colorado Pine Cone He showed no interest in getting his feet wet and left that to the younger Charlie to do. He slept well in the camper; no crate, just his bed and he didn't move all night. I think the fresh air and walks wore him out. Jacopo just fits in like a well-worn comfortable pair of shoes; so long as he is near us and gets his meals, he is a very happy camper! TRACIE COTTON: I LOVE it!
