Three male wheaten pups, approximately 12 weeks old, and one female wheaten breeder, four years old, will be coming to CRUSA on Saturday. Here are the plans:
Jackie Stidham & her sister, Tammy Martin, are doing the leg from Dr. T to St. Louis. Holly is doing St. Louis to Bloomington, Illinois. Myna & Mike are picking up Tollie in Bloomington. Gayle & Bob are picking up Montey & Kayla. More scheduling will come later.
Dr. T writes:
Here they are, with my commentary. The smallest pup, Tollie, would probably be the best for foster-to-adopt, but his ears don't stand up! They may still, but . . . it doesn't make him any less cuter. Kayla is on the schedule for Friday surgery, the pups on Monday, although so far one of the pups' testicles haven't completely dropped. Will just have to see if that happens by Monday.

Dr. Tolliver writes:
There are six Cairns - three pups and three adult females. The latest two females will not be arriving at the clinic until Friday morning, so they will not be spayed. All will, however, be vaccinated, HW tested, etc.
The pups were all neutered yesterday and they did fine. One of them had an undescended testicle, but it is out now and he is doing well. The pups have been started on Albon for possible coccidia, dewormed, vaccinated, etc.
There will also be seven - potentially - Papillons on the transport, hitching a ride to St. Louis. Right now, the only ones in the clinic are three puppies. Four adults are scheduled to come tomorrow. I say "potentially" because you never know what these breeders will actually end up doing. The pups can all be in one crate, and two adults to each crate, so hopefully there will only be three crates of Paps.
I will update everyone when I know more. Thanks again!
