With Holly was baby Tollie, after Dr. Tolliver of course. Going to first-time foster couple Myna & Mike Aiello, who answered Gayle's ad in the local paper. Great couple and it took Myna about ten seconds to decide they will most likely keep him forever.
Another couple joins the group of us who have flunked Fostering 101. We understand that Myna had been shopping all week for new Tollie accessories. You go girl' | |
Kayla was also along for the ride; Karen Slane, who was made aware of us through her daughter from the ad in the paper, will foster her. Welcome, Karen Slane & her household of three pets, and thank you for taking little Kayla into her home. Kayla is adorable, small & very friendly. A great Cairn for a first-time foster.

Bob & Gayle's grandson, Michael, was having a wonderful time with all the dogs but especially liked Tollie and was sad to see him leave with Myna & Mike.

Littermates Trixie & Dixie were added to transport on Friday, leaving very little time to do anything for them but the basic vetting. I have to say they are the worst-looking Cairns I have seen since joining this wonderful group last October. They are also extremely loving, not shy at all, cute & fun to have around.
After many changes in plans due to circumstances beyond our control, the girls, Trixie & Dixie, are being fostered by Bob & Gayle. We had no way of knowing they were so attached to each other, joined at the hip, so to speak. It would be too sad to break them up, they seem to depend on each other a lot. If one does something, the other one copies her, they are wonderful AND they are the first Cairns, other than our Mollie, to like Bob. So, here they stay until their forever home can be found.

So the Kiesow house was very busy on Saturday; Holly arrived around 5 p.m. and the final foster family did not leave until almost 7 p.m. It was a really good day for all! Another successful transport. Thank you, Jackie & Jackie's mom, who also never say no, always up for the challenge and once again Holly, for all you do for all the dogs.
