TOKI (f/k/a CRICKETT)
Toki is relaxed and not panting
Jen writes from Tennessee:
Well, they are all home and safe.
Jimmy is very nice, and was so heartbroken when he saw Molly.
Toki (which means Full of hope in Japanese), is doing well.
My dogs are doing all right; my Yorkies are scared of her right now, I hope that will change soon. Roscoe is neither here nor there with her. He tried to play, but she just doesn't get it yet; that will take time, but I don't give her too long. She loves chewing on chewies, but I took them away, so she could get used to everyone without having the chewy to resort to.
Peeing in the house is happening, but I expected that; put down some puppy pads to see if she would use them, I just can't tell when she actually pees, she is so low to the ground. She pooped outside this morning, andm typical for rescue tried to eat it, but I said no, picked it up and gave her some food.
GREAT GROOMING!
I found a tick on her, so got it, and put the flea/tick stuff on her. She slept in a bed on the floor in my room with us. She did well, once she realized there was nothing going on and nowhere to go. Although the bed is a little small for her, she didn't seem to mind.
I feed them separately, as I can see there will be issues of food aggression; not a lot, but just don't want them to start out that way. Other than that, things are great. She is so very sweet and just wants to be loved and petted and loved some more, and wants to be where you are.

Wanting in at the door |
On 16 June:
Toki is doing well; they all had chewies and nobody fought over them, so that is great.
My dog walker who is the best, Chris, said Toki did so well on the leash, she obviously has been on one. She & Roscoe walked very well together.
She sleeps very well at night on the floor right next to me, 'cause there is no more room in my bed. |
She has a very good personality -
Loving the grass
