And on Friday evening comes the news from Anita & Clair: Good news!! We have Chester. We picked him up a while ago and took him to a park where he met our two and had a walk with the hooligans. Things couldn't have gone better. They sniffed and checked each other out, then headed off for their walk. No problem whatsoever. Back home, he is checking everything out, following us everywhere and giving us tons of kisses; he even climbed up on the back of the couch behind me while I read the paper. He just met the cat and all went very well. He is curious and very interested in her, but no barking and absolutely no agression. So far things could not have gone any better. We crated him for the ride home and he did throw up. I think he gets car sick and there are medications for that, so, so much for the terrible little dog the owner described. He badly needs a grooming, which we will do once he is settled in a little. It has been a good day.
