RILEY (f/k/a CHESTER) DOES CHRISTMAS 27 DECEMBER 2008
Chester is still with us and doing very well. He is a joy to have around and has bonded with our two Cairn rescues. Niko (f/k/a Muirel) from CRUSA in April of 2007 & Darby (f/k/a Cabo) from Col. Potter in October of 2007. We now call him Riley (the name Chester turned out to be too formal for us). He and our Siamese cat are best friends; she even allows him to wash her face. He loves to watch TV with us. The Dog Whisperer is his favorite program. He loves to be held and cuddled; we like it, too. We have observed none of the negative things that the surrendering family told us about him. He does, however, have separation anxiety and does get car sick. We have found some homeapathic medicine that is helping greatly. He is our shadow everywhere we go and loves to play with the other dogs, especially with Niko. He already seems like part of the family, even if he did help undecorate the lower limbs of the Christmas tree. All in all, he is a sweetheart.
	11 JANUARY 2009: This was Riley (Chester) last night. He watches TV and barks like crazy at the dogs on it. Thought you might enjoy this. He is doing fine, and fitting in very well. We just love him, and he has helped Niko make giant strides with her confidence. She will sometime stay in the same room with Clair now and occasionally will even let him pick her up. We are so enjoying the progress.
