At the correct trailer, of course, the dogs are barking like mad, letting us know that we were at the right place, this time. We go inside - only 'cause VetteMan is with us - and are greeted by two hysterically-barking Wheaten Cairns in a crate. Also dog(s) barking in another part of the trailer (supposedly the Mother Cairn), and c*s meandering around our ankles. The owner pulls Ruby & Bubba out of their cage - they cower & snap - Shell & VetteMan babytalk them . . . Bubba We are informed that Ruby "may just have come in heat"; Bubba, of course, is not neutered. (He is, however, wearing a NASCAR collar, which may be indicative.) Ruby No birth records, no birth dates, no records of vaccinations . . . just two dogs & two collars. Which we pretty much grab & run.
