We have observed that he is not an absolute alpha; merely an opportunist, which is a natural action of the lower status in their social structure. We don't believe that he is naturally a fighter, but rather one to protect his status in the pack. Romo the Westie; Nikki; MollyToto the Cairn With the introduction of status level by alpha (human), he has accepted his position in the pack with no additional conflict. We think he needs to be observed for a while yet to insure continued success, and then he may go into a home provided that the people are K9 alpha savvy.
