DAY EIGHT - WORK BEGINS ON THE BACK YARD

All the old plastic edging had to first be pulled out, as well as the old lights. "Old" being relative; this previous landscaping was installed, along with the fence, in 1991. Time flies . . .

Jim had a great idea to give the yard some dimension and various levels by making a planter along the fence and then, instead of going around the trees in each corner, make another planter, with one fewer block level . . .

. . . so I told him, go for it . . . you're the artist and you know what you're doing.
