DAY FOUR - THE RETURN OF THE CEMENT TRUCK

Today the driveway apron & sidewalk will be poured, as well as the two cement slabs in front of the house, the sidewalk from the driveway to the front door; the front steps, which will be faced with the same blocks as the planter, will be formed, although not poured.

The angle of the driveway apron is reduced so the bottom of the Corvette doesn't scrape. Of course, the Vette is in the garage and will have to stay there for at least a week while the cement cures.

After the driveway apron is poured & smoothed, JIM & RICK work on the two slabs in front of the house. These we decided to keep, as this area is under overhangs and never gets much light; attempting to grow anything here would be an exercise in futility.
