On Sunday, 26 June, Libby writes:
We did go see Little Forrest the first full day we were at Wombat Bend. What a handful he is! And how beautiful & healthy.
We got to Porscha's property after dark, and went out to the barn immediately. Forrest was snuggled in his nest, but deigned to join us after some prodding from her. He immediately started scurrying around, checking out everything. Boy, can he move fast.
I am happy to report that while you still can see the scar from his wound & surgery, it is healing well; his coat is shiny & healthy. |

He also is quite the nipper. He checked out the flavor of North American ankles a few times before returning to the more familiar Australian arms & legs.
