Shell's side of the story: Bob & Gayle Kiesow did their first run to Missouri yesterday and came back today. I met them in Morton, Illinois (outside of Peoria, where they live). Elizabeth & Millie are staying in East Peoria.

Gayle & Elizabeth Millie (approaching Gayle's hand) Gayle & Willie Pups Isabel, Becca, Henry & Mathilda came home with me. Also home with me now are Turk, Taffy & Ruby Ella. I met Scott [Lubert] & Greg [Martin] at Hinsdale Oasis and gave them pups Bam-Bam & Pebbles who are being fostered-to-adopt up in Wisconsin. Also meeting me at Hinsdale Oasis were Jen Tenorio and family who are fostering Ana (owner surrender from St. Louis). Jen's family includes husband Chip and Ally & Nate. Chip grew up with Cairns; they now own Jack Russels. They previously fostered Pootie, who was adopted last weekend. Ana The Tenorio Family with Ana Skippy Lewis is unimpressed by all these transfers; he's see it all before, many times.
