WILLIE GOES ON VACATION 7 MARCH 2008

Willie's FosterFamily had planned a vacation, so Pam Simpson volunteered to B&B him for the week. Her report: Peeing on everything, first of all - all three dogs. They were behind a baby gate. He is ALPHA. He has alphad Molly already and tried it with Sophie. That is pretty hard to do when you are shorter than the dog you are trying to alpha. He does not seem nervous. They all went out in the back yard. He [did what he was supposed to do] and sniffed a lot of stuff and marked just about every place. He is downstairs with Steve right now and the other three are up here with me. I did a makeshift belly band. He seems to adjust very well. Steve was petting him; he stopped and Willie pawed at him to do it again. The next day: He is a wiggle-worm - LOVES PEOPLE. It is like he has always known us. He is, however, trying to be in charge. Harley is being very good, but he would like to not be. His face is healing very nicely; they left in his snaggletooth when they took the others out. He is pretty scraggly-looking. I am going to Mars him this evening. That takes me days to do - a nice trim and Mars. Photos to follow. He is pretty tired right now. I think our dogs have worn him out. Molly got in his bag and stole one of his stuffies. She ran with it under the dining room table and was squeaking it. She walked away and he was under there collecting it at lightning speed. He is gonna be just fine - he wants to be bossy at first but adjusts - it has not even been 24 hours here yet.
