Isn't the wound looking good? He did lose most of his teeth on that side but he has no trouble eating. He is pretty smart; he already learned the drill about treats when you come in. He reminds me if I forget. Of course, he probably learned that at his foster home. I think he is pretty pampered there . . . just as he should be!
Harley has been trying to get Willie to play. He does not quite want to - keeps bumping him - think that means something alpha but am not sure. But I was trimming Harley's nails, first with a clipper, then smoothing them off with the Dremel. Harley & Willie were on the sofa, as was I while doing this. Willie got between Harley & me to keep me from doing that. He did it first with the clippers, then with the Dremel. I think he was trying to protect him!

PLAY, WILLIE, PLAY!

He scratches his face on the quilt on the sofa. He looks like he is turning flips when he does it. He makes these happy noises when he is doing it. Our dogs look at him, look at us, look at him, look at us: "What the heck is he doin',Mom?"
Here he is, playing with his own squirrely that came with him. It squeaks and he LOVES it. We had to put it up though, as they were getting gnarly about it.
