ZOEY IN THE SNOW FEBRUARY 2009 Katie writes: Zoey is doing well and settled in to her routine. She has been with Sugaree & me for about a week and a half now and never had one accident, so I think it is safe to say she is 100# housetrained. She is good about using the dog door and really enjoys being outside when it isn't too cold. Even when it is cold, she wants to stay out, but her paws get cold as I'll see her lifting them up from time to time. On Saturday, after I took care of snowblowing the driveway, the girls came outside to play in the snow and boy, did they have fun. I had to use the hairdryer to melt the snow off Sugaree's legs when she came in. Her hair is just so fine (unlike most Cairns) that it sticks to her like glue. Zoey fared a bit better, though.
