PARIS
On 5 February, Patti Sundling sends to CRUSA INTAKES this PetFinder notice:
Humane Society of North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa
More About Paris:
I'm not trying to be a "whiner", but my former owner kept me confined in a cage for most of my seven years. My only job(?) was to breed and produce more puppies. This long confinement has made me kind of shy around people, but the nice folks here at the shelter are helping me to come out of my shell! They treat me VERY well here! I can no longer have puppies, BUT . . . I'm STILL living in a cage! It sure would be nice to live in a home where I could have some freedom!
Decisions & plans are still being made, but if all goes well, this shy girl will be coming into CRUSA and on her way to a normal life of being loved & spoiled.

BELLA
On 8 February, this came into the CRUSA INTAKES list from Marion, Iowa:
She came to our neighborhood as a stray in September. We took her in, got her spayed and up to date on shots. She's a very nice dog, but needs a lot of attention. Due to having four kids and another dog, we just can't keep her and devote the time and attention she requires.
CRUSA Midwest Intakes Manager Erica Bergin contacted the owner and asked for photo(s) & vet records, thinking that Bella could be brought to Wisconsin, along with Paris, and be fostered by Katie Kneesel.
As sometimes happens, however, contact was broken and CRUSA heard no more about Bella. We can only hope her owners have decided to keep her . . .
