Supposed to get home today; it's so noisy I'm sure I'll feel a bit better at home.

Yeah, hospital wards aren't known for their peace & quiet, that's for sure.
Here's hoping you'll find some relief at least in your own home, bed &
familiar surroundings!

Later in the day,
Jackie writes:

I'm home now -
silence is golden.
Team Schnauzer
is very subdued;
sniffed me all over,
then Hamish growled
at all the canula sites,
licked the walker
and went to his bed.
Suzi gave me
tiny kisses on
my nose and
is sitting at my feet.

This is my arm today.

GR

JACKIE IKE:
So happy it was just a short stay. Hope you heal quickly!

GR

CHRISTINE SHEFFER:
So glad you are home where you can really rest.

GR

MARE MOORE
in Canada:
Welcome home! I'm sure Hamish was turned off by what a dog might consider to be rather foul medicinal smells left behind as residual from your IV sites. That's sweet that Suzi gave you kisses and is sitting at your feet the li'l sweetie. I'm sure if Lily was there with you, too, that she'd be sticking close by her Mum. The Zen & positive thoughts for healing are still a-flowin' your way so rest best you can, eh!

GR

JULIE HERRIDGE:
Welcome Home, Jackie! I hope your home rehabilitation is fast and successful, especially with two of your "Wild Bunch" with you! Please be assured of my prayers for your continued recovery.

WHERE'S LILY?

Lily jumped on my shoulder when I was lying in the mud;
she wouldn't let people near me, the wee soul.
She was running up and down my arm and ribs trying to chase people away,
which was why I was so muddy when I got to the hospital.
I think that's why I was left so long;
they probably thought I was some derelict old bag lady.

One of the ladies from
the class took her home,
then Ann said
they would have her.
They are spoiling her;
she gets to sleep
on their bed and
gets human treats
I don't give her.

They are keeping her
for a few more weeks as R
can't cope with her.
She moves too fast for him.
This was her before we left
for class on Wednesday morning.

I'm a bit worried
she might think I'm
punishing her because
she hasn't gotten to
see me for six days now.

GR

JACKIE IKE:
Poor sweet Lily! She just wanted her mama to be safe. Maybe she can come for a short visit to see you are ok. I hope she gets to come home soon, but she is probably in the best place for a while. Keep on getting better, Jackie; you are in our prayers!

GR

CHRISTIE HANSEN:
What a bad accident! That Lab looked like a ball of muscles!
