I managed to sleep in my own bed last night. Bliss.
I'd been sleeping on the couch because I didn't think
I could get over the carpet. I'm getting stronger and
right leg balance was good and getting better.

I did NOT go out to find an apropos card, BTW . . .
this has been in my greeting card box, just WAITING for the right occasion.
Luckily, Jackie has maintained her sense of humor, or I'd not have sent this one.

pressure sores on my heel
while keeping my leg elevated.

Lookin' really stylin' there, Jac! Not sure what kind of style that might qualify for, but stylin' nonetheless. Glad the boot's doing its job & here's hoping that it continues to do so for as long as it's needed.

Remember moon boots
from the 80s?

I can't walk on it,
but it does keep
my foot warm and
it's very padded.
