We had a wonderful day; it was everything I hoped for
and I felt like a film star for a day.
And best of all I get to do it all again next Friday.
25 JUNE
I have become Mrs. Parker. It's a new start for us,
so I took his name. My email will stay the same for now;
with retiring 3 August 2016 and honeymoon in Mexico in September,
name change is low priority.
NEAL SKRENES:
Congratulations and best wishes as your voyage together into the future!
May you clearly see the way wherever life's journey takes you,
forever finding fair winds sailing safely over rough water
and weathering the waves' dips and crests.
I hope that your joys will be as deep as the ocean,
your misfortunes as light as the foam,
and that you will always be each other's safe harbor.

Beautiful. I love the one of you posing; you looked stunning (so young, girl).
The one of you both posing as cake topper: Brilliant idea. The ceremony looked very special and cake looked lovely.
I wish you both love and happiness. Bet you can't wait to retire and build all those lovely memories together.
Be happy; you deserve it.

Great saga of the Wedding Dress . . . Fairy godmothers do exist! I believe, I believe . . .
(Send your congrats to Jackie & Richard HERE)
People kept telling me I would be so busy when I retire,
I would wonder how I ever fit in work. I'm finding that now.
I suppose everything will calm down after Friday/Saturday is over.
We will pick up the food Thursday night, the cake 8.30 Friday morning,
then drop the dogs off at the kennels at 10.00 a.m., then back home,
pack food, cake, dresses, overnight bags and head to the club;
lay out tables and decorations, etc.
Then off to the hotel for a well-earned cocktail and get ready for the party.
