On 12 September, Jackie writes: A FEW DAYS AWAY We were blessed with some lovely weather for our little break. After dinner one night we took a walk along the promenade. It had been a bit wild and windy in the afternoon, but it was warm and calm with the moon just breaking through the clouds over the sea. 9 September And so we all say goodbye to the sea; Jackie & Richard will return in Spring of 2023 . . . 10 September
