On 21 August, Jackie writes: Morning Walk

It's 6:30 a.m. on a beautiful day;
the sea was calm and the beach almost deserted.

MARE MOORE:
I was out this a.m. on my walk at the same time, too. Was much the same here at our beach on Lake Huron this morning . . . water was calm & crystal clear, you could count every pebble, stone and boulder, see tiny fingerlings & minnows occasionally swimming by. Our beach was mostly deserted too at that hour, just myself and another lone woman walking the beach in the distance away from me. My favourite time of day.

LATER THAT DAY . . .

HOME NOW . . . And greeted by this lovely flower,
which is an improvement on last week's garden display.
