Today we head for
l'Auberge Resort & Casino
in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The hotel was very nice; to get wifi I had to log into their website.
That's a no-no on an English mobile.

I felt like Scarlett O'Hara

I've never been in a casino like this.
I can see why people get addicted, but for me,
after a while I want it to do more.
It would ask if I wanted to phone a friend
or ask the audience before I hit the deal button.
Elaine kept telling me to hit the button,
but I said the machine had to ask to hit the button
so I felt it was working to take my dollar.

HOTEL LOBBY: I couldn't believe they had
aire conditioning on and two huge fires.

HOTEL POOL: The pool area was massive -
a two-day camel ride to see all of it and not a leaf out of place;
there must have been about 20 staff working on it when I was there at 8.00 a.m.
