SAILING, SAILING O'ER THE BOUNDING MAIN DAY EIGHT

"Princess" Jackie's Yacht Jackie emails from the ship: Greetings from the M.V. ARCADIA. We are having a great time. The Bay of Biscay was flat calm. We've visited Barcelona, Monte Carlo and today we will visit Livorno. So far, weather has been great although it's a bit overcast today. The ship is a floating resort; our cabin is really nice and we have a cabin boy who, every time we leave the room, brings fresh towels, fruit, flowers, and canapés at 5.00 p.m. I'm so spoiled I won't want to get off. The food is so good I don't think my clothes will fit by the time I get home. Sailing in the Mediterranean We arrived at Livorno on a rather cool grey morning. Lots of people were off on bus trips to Florence & Pisa to see the leaning tower, but we decided to have a rest day - explore the ship, have a long leisurely lunch, some high tea. sit reading our books in the sun. pre-dinner cocktails and a piano recital.
