As you can see, we are leaving the Mediterranean.
The ship was now adopting a strange angle
(must have been all the duty-free)
and the wind freshened (captain-speak
for very windy) to Gale Force 6,
so we headed for an indoor bar to watch
the land disappear from sight.
Well, that was it for this year; back home to my furkids
and my garden. It's nice to have a break, but nicer
to get back home . . .
. . . even if it did take two days to cut the grass.
[This is NOT their home; it is the gardening shed.
Just in case you wondered . . . .]
It was great to see the Wild Bunch; I really missed them and I think they were a bit wild in the kennels; well, the girls were. The kennel owner when asked if they had been ok in my absence said, Hmmm, Elle can scream, can't she? And Mahri; well, she is so bouncy. I means she is . . . . He was searching for the right adjective . . . exuberant, I offered. Yes, that's it. She barks because she thinks she should and Elle tells her off, so she responds with minimum force and Elle then responds with maximum decibels and force..
Yep, that's my girls. Actually, Elle has been on her best behaviour since she entered the house; I'm not sure whether it is because she's in the huff with us or just making sure we don't send her back to the kennels.
He said Mr mac was so laid-back, he was no problem.
We may give cruising a miss next year;
