Still no change in the weather . . . . . . I hope it improves soon or we won't see New York. Warm & safe on Deck Two, . . . . . . which today was below sea level. Tom had acupuncture every other day between 3 & 4 p.m., which he finds really helps his hands. One day I met the girls for high tea served in the Queen's Ballroom. Nita being mum [For Americans: "Being mum" means to be the one pouring the tea] A string quartet played and we were were plied with a never-ending supply of tea sandwiches, cakes and, of course, scones & jam.
