Dear President and Mrs. Bush,

In honor of your relationship with Barney, I'd like you to have this photograph. With the threat of war looming, the Airedale Terrier Club of America was having their National Specialty show in St. Louis, and part of the festivities was a costume contest. I entered Idgy, my Airedale. We think her costume was perfect for the times. We won "Most Patriotic"!

My father fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the 740th Tank Battalion. He has passed, but would be very proud that his daughter and her dog continue to carry on the Patriotism he instilled in me. (He got his first Airedale in 1945, another tradition I carry on!)
