On 2 January 2011, Brenda writes: As you can tell by these pics, Alex is a handful, but a wonderful one. He's so dang cute. As I type this, he's lying asleep in my lap. I am trying to teach him to ring a bell on the door to go out. I also have a pee pad, which he has used a couple of times. Alex had to go the vet the other day for the potty blues. Evidently the former owner had a cat at one time; Alex ate cat poo and got a bacterial infection. His ears were red and his gums were, too. He's on meds, but the potty blues are gone. I told him I've done more laundry since he came. But he's worth it. He loves to get in my garbage can under my computer. but it's no fun since I've emptied it now. Nuttin' for him to get into. Bummer. I do believe that Anya thinks he is her personal toy. You would think they were killing each other. My neighbor stopped by today and said that little Alex sure can hold his own playing outside. He had one by the ear earlier, he said. I love him to pieces and love to get kisses from him. Enjoy looking at my baby boy.
