On 22 July, Shell Lewis writes: Bunny & George Holmes of Illinois have a darling little senior Doxie that was sorely in need of companionship; they found that new friend in "Sadie" (f/k/a Shandi Lynne), a beautiful mill dog in foster care with Ruth Geller of Illinois. Sadie has been in her new home for just over a week, but Bunny reports that she is settling in beautifully and has even had lunch at an outdoor café. A big improvement over life in the Missouri mill! Congrats to Bunny & family and THANKS to Carol Harris on the reference team for her usual superb & speedy job.

On 16 July, Donna writes: Shade, Joe & Charlie Big day today, all three babies left the nest . . . sad but happy! I have great apps on three more to go next week; fingers crossed.

On 23 July, Donna writes: I thank everyone for an outstanding job helping me get these pups & mama adopted. Adoptions: Mama Dori; Pups Shade, Joe, Imogene, Charlie, Jack & Addie. Oliver leaves 8 August. We are now down to: Boo, Ajax, & Mama Lori. It's been one busy summer! I will get pictures of the Murphys, who adopted Shade & Joe. Cheryl Novy, from Minnesota, adopted Jack; I didn't get pictures of them because Art took my camera to shoot pics of the new grandbaby.

Heather, Charlie & Donna Heather Shea writes: Charlie has settled in so well; we love him so much and so do his two fur brothers. The c*t is still on the fence about the whole thing, but did sniff Charlie when he was asleep, so that's a good sign. Charlie plays with Rowdy, his new brother.
