On 22 July, Shell Lewis writes: Tomorrow, Janine & Jim Adams of Upstate New York are driving nine hours - one way - to meet Jim & me in Ann Arbor, Michigan to adopt Orin. It's always gratifying when new parents will go the distance to adopt, and we are grateful to this family for its extra efforts. A big THANK YOU to Marla Lunt & the staff of K9 PLAYTIME) in Mundlein, Illinois for fostering Orin; to Cindy Blackman for conducting the home visit; to Eileen Kemp on the reference team for her usual thorough job; and to NE Placement Director Linda Savage, for her help.
