She loves beheading her stuffed toys.
The other day she was rummaging through her bag
and came over to me with her bag of treats.
She's also started jumping into her crate of toys . . .
jumping in & out is even more fun than the toys.
She still runs around the house at about 80 miles an hour
and does everything she can to find trouble,
but I love every minute. It also helps that she likes
to sleep at least eight hours every night and
take at least one nap a day.
She's doing incredibly well with puppy training.
Thanks to her wonderful foster mom, she'd already mastered 'sit'.
But she's now added 'watch me', 'down', & 'leave it' to her repertoire.
She's not so sure about 'drop it', though.
She learns so quickly it always amazes me.
The funniest part about training every week though is
watching her show the 35-pound lab/retriever mix who is boss.
She's had him pinned to the floor at least once every week now.
My goal is still to have her become a registered therapy dog
so she can bring some of her sunshine to people who need it.
She's had her 14- & 16-week shots,
and has gained a pound in the past two weeks.
She's now 8 pounds, 6 ounces of healthy fluff & fun
She LOVES going to the vet, although I'm sure it helps that her vet is also her grandpa.
She goes just about everywhere with me,
traveling in her car seat.
I eat lunch out with her every day; she just loves greeting people.
Kids are her favorites, but she'll roll over for a belly rub from just about anyone.
And she also loves her nightly walk around the outdoor shopping center
where she can meet people and chase rabbits & bugs.
Addie is the most wonderful puppy I could have asked for,
and I'm really proud of the dog she's becoming.
I still can't thank CRUSA & Donna enough
for bringing her into my life.
