Christmas Eve 2006: Rocky, Zoe & Bonny claim the new sofa as theirs!

She gutted two of Bonny's soft toys the other day. She ate through two string toys. She has a rather large squirrel right now that she is sleeping with her head on. She destroyed a plastic hamburger & an ice cream cone, also plastic. So, we are on the look out for something that she can chew on that won't fall apart so fast. Oh, she also destroyed a leash. She tried to eat through a power cord!!!! I caught her before she got more than one bite into it. Needless to say, power cords all got covered up.

I love when she wags her tail. Her entire body wags!!! It is so cute.

January 2007: Zoe in an Ohio motel room . . .
I seem to recall reading something earlier about
"we don't allow dogs on the bed" . . . .
Oh, that must mean the beds at home.

Could you take a shower with her around?? She wants to get in the shower with me. If I shut the door to the bathroom, she scratches on it until Chuck brings her in. She actually got up on the side of the tub before I could stop her!!

All in all, I think she is doing well. We are so happy to have her.

Rocky, Cairn Terrier Rescue, age 11:
"IF I HAD AN OPPOSABLE THUMB, I COULD OPEN THIS WINDOW, YOU KNOW!"

28 September:

Zoe is doing well. She is still jumpy and a little frightened at times, but she is socializing better and spends more time on the sofa or in the middle of the floor than under my feet now. (Although that is where she is now!)

Bonny, Scottish Terrier Rescue, age seven:
"Santy Paws sure brought us a nice couch.
And so quietly, too."
