February 2007: The back of the couch is a very popular resting place . . .
. . . and still so in March

She will walk through the door to go out, but you have to carry her to the door and set her down. Before, we had to actually put her out.
The other night she stood and barked at the dishwasher. I am sure that we have run it since she has been here, but she didn't like it the other night and after she barked at it a while, she decided it was ok and left it alone!
Oh yes . . . the famous "we don't allow dogs on the bed" . . .
. . . no, not dogS, just Zoe!
Her trim is beautiful; she looks great and she was very nervous, but got along great with the groomer.
She is growling at Chuck less & less and even sits with him sometimes. She joins in with all the barking out the front window at the mailman.
Getting ready for . . .
. . . a walk in the rain
All in all, she is making progress and we love her very much. Just wanted you to know how she was doing before you left on your trip.
20 April 2007:
Just wanted to let you know that the vet heard a heart murmur in Zoe the other day. He said it wasn't anything to worry about, but I am worried. Say a little prayer for her.
She is so beautiful. Her fur is thick & golden and those little black eyes dance most of the time now. She is in love with Chuck and he with her. She doesn't like it when he leaves the house. She puts up a fuss, then sits in the window and sighs for a while. It is very cute.
She & Bonny have become pals. They sleep in the same chair and in the morning when Zoe gets up, she noses into Bonny's bed and gives her a quick kiss on the nose.
They were running up & down the hallway chasing a ball yesterday. It was very cute.
