They are sweetie pies!

They are used to interacting with other dogs in a face-to-face venue, rather than just through wire crates, I think. Our male, Harley, was sniffing a bit too much and each of them let him know - with a low growl ONLY - that he should back off just a bit.

Could not get one of Birdie with her ears up, but they will be outside in a bit and we shall try again.

AT HOME WITH TENILLE
9 APRIL 2006

We met Andréa & Vetteman in Rockford on schedule.
We met Tenille - she is a sweetie!

Pottie stop at Dixon where Tenille ate two tiny bites of Pupparoni
and a bite of Culver's chicken.

Now home. There's some tension with the other dogs, particularly Daisy, but they have run around together some. More growling from Tenille than outright snapping. My guys just mostly bark and want to start a chase game.

While I'm at the computer, she is in the X-Pen outside. In the house, at first she would only go up, but not down, the two steps between kitchen & mudroom. However, moments ago she executed a down independently.

Here are the first digitals. Soon to be followed by the first bath.

Thanks to all who helped her get this far.
Hopefully only the first step to a better life.
