By today, all six were spayed or neutered. Violette was discovered to be already pregnant. Luckily for her future life, the breeder was unaware of this when he gave her up to Dr. T and CRUSA. That same day, Shell writes: Well . . . guess what? The Lewis Family is going to be going to Missouri. I talked Jim into driving there Friday. I'm pretty excited. We'll pick up the hounds on Saturday morning and then head back. Scott & Greg are going to meet me at the Hinsdale Oasis and take one - possibly two - of the dogs up to Pat Messer in Jefferson. A foster-to-adopt family will also meet us there and take their "pick of the pack" to FTA, another goes to St. Charles and the rest come home with me and then fly out to Spokane on Monday morning. Of course, the good news is that you know I love to take pictures so I'll take BUNCHES of them. I expect to find you at home at your computer Saturday night, ready to spend HOURS adding to the website. KIDDING of course but I am looking forward to it. The "hook" that got Jim to agree to this crazy scheme was the fact that his favorite wine - School House Red - is produced at St. James Winery, located on the way to Dr. Tolliver's clinic.
