ZAIRA VENTURES OUT INTO THE BIG WORLD 11 AUGUST 2006
MaryBeth Rickel reports: Look at little Zaira! What a big girl she is! Here she is playing with a various dogs. What fun she had! Zaira is now up to 11-1/2 pounds . . . she has gained two whole pounds. She is almost 100% housetrained. She hasn't had an accident in five days. She is not as fearful, as you can see by this picture! She actually made it off the deck and onto the sidewalk without me! BIG step!
LOOK! It's easy!!	Then my little girl Annie taught her how to hide in the tall grass.
She is still a bit baffled by our Greyhound Luna.	Hey, Murphy - what is this funny-looking creature??
Ahh, Murphy . . . all I want is just a little smooch!	She was moving so fast in these pictures - she was actually kissing Murphy but this was the best I was able to capture.
Then to end her evening, she actually got into a tug-of-war with our houseguest, the Rat Terrier named Nixon - which seems fitting - RAT terrier and all!	HEY! Give me that toy!
