On Saturday, MaryBeth reports:
Today Zaira went to her forever home. She was adopted by a wonderful family in Moscow, Idaho. They are the nicest family and they are thrilled to have her.
They also have a wonderful large terrier mix named Gaby. There are also two older children who live at college. They are going to be a great family for this sweet little girl. I already miss her!

On Sunday, Tobi writes:
Here is JoJo with her new family & her Westie brother, Chester. They were SO excited to get her today and I know she will have a great home. Yippee for my JoJo B; she's a lucky girl!!
On 2 September, Tobi receives a note from JoJo's Forever Home:
Good Morning Tobi,
Jo Jo is doing quite well; presently, she is sitting underneath my feet while I'm on the computer. I've been taking her for a ride in the golf cart every morning before our walk. She now runs to the cart and actually jumps in before Chester. Chester is warming up to her, and now will let her lie next to him as they sleep.
All of the remodel commotion doesn't even bother her much anymore. We will all be glad that the remodeling workers take a four-day break over Labor Day. I'll drop you a note down the road to let you know how life is going for Jo Jo.
